The powerful rechargeable battery ranges up to 212 miles, with charging made incredibly easy, thanks to Nissan's massive network of high-speed chargers throughout the USA. You can also charge your Leaf at home with the Wallbox home charging station. The Leaf provides a phenomenal warranty, valid for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, you can get a Security+Plus Plan, which provides three years or 36,000 miles of prepaid scheduled maintenance and two-year Road Hazard Coverage for tires. If you need roadside assistance, it's complimentary for three years or 36,000 miles, with flat bed towing coverage available for five years or 60,000 miles. You'll love the fact that you won't have to head to the gas pump, and you can even get some potential tax credits for driving electric!

Nissan Leaf Trim Levels

There are two available trims for the Nissan Leaf. The S, which is the base trim, has the e-Pedal, which acts as emergency assistance by monitoring traffic conditions and applying the brakes when needed as collision prevention. The SV Plus runs on a 60-kilowatt battery and offers NissanConnect EV Services powered by SiriusXM. Both are performance powerhouses that produce zero tailpipe emissions, and maintenance is far less than with traditional vehicles. You don't even have to go for oil changes or tuneups!

New Leaf Compared to Others in Its Class

More electric vehicles are hitting the roads these days, and the Nissan Leaf is not without its competitors. The Leaf is typically compared to Tesla's Model 3 and Chevrolet's Bolt. The Leaf stands out from the crowd in a number of ways. If you want top-of-the-line comfort and roominess, the Leaf has that for you, with more cargo room and greater volume than the Model 3. The Leaf provides a total of 23.6 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the second row, while the Model 3 falls short at 15 cubic feet. Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also come standard on the Leaf, but these features are not available on the Model 3.

Compared to the Chevy Bolt, a number of safety features come standard on the Nissan Leaf. These features include Rear Automatic Braking, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Intervention, and Blind Spot Warning. On the Bolt, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Warning are available features, but you won't find the other safety features that are standard on the Leaf.
